I worked on the construction of the airport in the Falkland Islands from October 1983 to May 1985, November 1985 to January 1986 and for a week in April 1986.

It was called Falkland Islands Strategic Airport (FISA), then Mount Pleasant Airfield (airfield denotes a military base) and finally Mount Pleasant Airport (MPA).

I wrote a diary which fills eight A4 pads and took two thousand photos. I can't put everything here, partly because some of it is a bit personal.
